Information on the processing of personal data

What do you grant your consent to?

The personal data provided to our company British American Tobacco (Czech Republic), s.r.o, Company ID: 617 75 339, with its registered office at Karolinská 654/2, Karlín, 186 00 Prague 8, registered in the Commercial Register maintained by the Municipal Court in Prague, Section C, Insert No. 35426 (hereinafter referred to as “Administrator”), in person to the receptionists of the Administrator, via telephone at (+420) 222 811 810 or (+420) 222 811 811, or via e-mail to prague_reception@bat.com  (hereinafter referred to as “Personal Data”), will be processed by the Administrator in order to resolve your query.

The Personal Data are provided on a voluntary basis.

Personal Data will be processed on the basis of a legitimate interest of the Administrator, which is to helpfully resolve your query. For this purpose, Personal Data will be processed for the period of time necessary to resolve your query, at maximum for 1 year.

The Personal Data will be processed in an automated manner.

Who will have access to the Personal Data?

Personal Data may also be processed by other companies within the British American Tobacco Group within the framework of internal control systems.

Your Personal Data will not be disclosed to other persons except when such disclosure is a statutory obligation (for example, to investigational, adjudicating and judicial authorities, or courts) or except when your Personal Data are disclosed to persons bound by statutory or contractual confidentiality duty in order to protect the rights of the Administrator.

What are your rights?

You have the right of access to the Personal Data, the right to correct the Personal Data, the right to ask the Administrator to restrict the processing, correct, add or delete the Personal Data.

You may dispute the processing of Personal Data for the legitimate interests of the Administrator at any time and your Personal Data will be deleted unless the Administrator demonstrates serious legitimate reasons for the processing of your Personal Data that outweigh your interests or rights.

Furthermore, you have the right to demand compensation of material and non-material harm caused by processing of the Personal Data and to file a complaint with the Office for Protection of Personal Data, with its registered office at Pplk. Can conditions of processing of the Personal Data be amended?

The Administrator can change the above conditions for processing of the Personal Data. In this case, it will inform you about such a change and it will request your consent provided that the basic conditions of processing change (e.g. a change in the purpose).
